Sourcing Manager in Mobile and Transport/Transmission Networks

Your new challenge?

We are further strengthening our Telia Norway Sourcing & Procurement organization and looking for an experienced sourcing manager to our Network and IT Strategic Sourcing area, with focus on Mobile and Transport/Transmission Networks. In order to excel in this role, you need to be an experienced strategic buyer or supplier manager with prior sourcing and/or supplier management experience, and have interest to develop the team and our practices.  In this role you will be leading our local strategic sourcing activities, and be member of the global category team(s). Your responsibilities include:

• Strategic sourcing of services and products within the network area such as mobile networks, transmission and connected SW/HW
• Facilitating discovery of local business needs, fulfilment and management trough category strategies
• Supplier Relationship Management
• Constantly seeking for opportunities to simplify processes, create value and work in way that is more efficient
• Contributing to local sourcing & procurement performance and transformation
• Contributing to Telia Norways success as well as excellent collaboration cross Telia countries

Your new team

We operate as one, integrated 200+ persons Sourcing and Procurement team. You will be a member of the Sourcing & Procurement team in Norway, working out of our Oslo office. You will report directly to the CPO of Telia Norway and in matrix to the global category team lead(s).

What about you

You have:

• M.Sc (or B.Sc) from relevant field
• Already demonstrated your skills in similar roles
• Experience from software based solutions
• Curious about new technology
• Flexibility and open mind to help create new solutions
• Ability to create trusted relationship with new or existing partners
• Seniority to lead commercial negotiations and capability work with business leaders
• Minimum 5 years of experience to manage suppliers, negotiate contracts and lead sourcing projects
