Höegh Autoliners is looking for a highly proficient and experienced Head of Compensation and Benefits to join their organisation. The Head of Compensation and Benefits has the overall responsibility to manage the remuneration package offered to all Höegh Autoliners employees. The Head of Compensation and Benefits also has the responsibility to design and develop competitive and cost effective reward solutions at all levels. The position will have an extensive network of contacts throughout the organisation, and will be reporting to Chief Organisation & Technical Officer.
Responsibilities
- ensure that the compensation and benefit packages are in line with global industry standards and aligned within the organisation
- develop a competitive and aligned reward strategy for the company
- ensure compliance with current legislation
- conduct global salary and benefits analysis and reports
- establish compensation and benefit KPI's and monitor at monthly intervals
- interaction with financial auditors
- provide advice and guidance in relation to compensation and benefit matters to the Management, Line Managers and Höegh Autoliners staff in general
- ensure consistency within the company's policies and standards
- drive development and improvement to ensure a learning organisation
- provide leadership and direction to the reporting teams
Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Legal studies, or other business-related field is required. MSc degree is preferred
- 5-10 years relevant experience working with compensation and benefit systems
- extensive experience with international compensation and benefit programs
- understanding of competition, market trends, business cycles and impact on pay systems and structures - as well as benefits
- minimum five years' experience from leading diverse teams and proven ability to drive change
- extensive experience from international companies
Special skills - in-depth knowledge of market data, salary structures, variable pay and performance management, long-term compensation, job grading, regulatory requirements, pension plans, global mobility and global employment
- Iin-depth knowledge of payroll and tax regulations
- knowledge of international rules and regulations relevant to the function
