IT Manager

Novelda seeks an experienced IT manager to own and handle all IT related activities within the company. The main objective for the IT manager is to maintain secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware and software. Novelda maintains systems that are both internally and externally hosted.

Novelda uses a wide range of applications including toolchains for development of integrated circuits (IC), toolchain for HW and SW development, enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), Web Shop project management as well as the normal MS Office suite.

The ERP system integrates IT services for factories and warehouses in Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain secure and efficient operation of all existing systems, HW and SW.
• Evaluate user needs and system functionality and ensure that the ICT facilities meets these needs
• Installing and sandboxing new systems
• Maintain all licenses, ensure that licensing policies are understood and enforced
• Negotiating, purchasing and support of end-user equipment, SW, cloud services etc.
• Managing crisis situation with HW / SW / Infrastructure failures
• Be a part of the QA/QC team; ensure that the infrastructure implementation and execution processes are compliant with ISO9001 certification of the complete company.
• Qualifications
• ·Experience with setup and maintenance of Windows, Linux and MacOS work-stations and servers
• Knowledge on setup and maintenance of cloud-services (Azure and AWS)
• Background from setup and maintenance of network infrastructure (Routers, firewalls etc)
• Experience with DevOps and build systems
• Knowledge and experience on IT-security (Network, applications, services etc)
• Experience from installation and support of IC / PCB / RF CAD software is beneficial
• Service minded, systematic, quality oriented and self-driven person that wants to work in an advanced and active engineering and product development environment
