Group Controller - Marine Harvest Fish Feed

Marine Harvest Fish Feed will shortly commence construction of its second Feed Plant, a 110 million Euro development situated on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.  As a result of internal restructuring we are seeking to appoint a Group Controller Fish Feed. 

We are looking for a controller with passion for the Salmon Industry that wants to support the further development of the Feed Business Area, as it expands its manufacturing operations to service more of our feed demand internally.  

The position demands close cooperation with the COO Feed, Purchasing Director, Nutrition & Formulations Director and the Operations Directors in Norway & Scotland. 

Main tasks:
• Operationally follow the flow of cost from incoming raw materials to delivered feed
• Provide governance and profitability assessment of the feed business  
• Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reporting and liaising with auditors
• Evaluation of investment alternatives
• Identify cost improvement initiatives 
• Detailed tracking and budget performance of large construction projects
• Inter-company and external feed pricing in line with group standards
• Manage the annual budgeting and long term planning processes
• Liaise with IT department on management and development of IT systems

Competence and qualifications:
• Higher education in economics, finance and/or accounting. 
• > 3  years’ relevant experience
• Good understanding of M3 
• Strong commercial and operational orientation
• Strong English skills, written and oral, Norwegian in addition is an advantage
• Good business understanding and improvement focused
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Knowledge of salmon farming and basic knowledge related to salmon feed
