While this position is based out of the Asker office, the current global sales team of Miros operates from both our offices in Asker and Aberdeen. Each Sales Representative manages their own industry area, in close cooperation with the rest of the team.
Miros AS are now looking to re-enter the global shipping market and thus they require a Sales Manager to be responsible for this market and its development. This is a huge opportunity for those that thrive building something from scratch and shaping the direction of eco-friendly shipping through truly bleeding edge technology.
In this position, you will have the overall responsibility for the segment globally. You will need to develop deep relationship with ship owners, bridge integrators and class societies - and of course close deals. In addition you will also be an integral part of the further development of the company products to the industry together with customers and partners.
Key tasks include: International sales and business development, creation of proposals and contracts, key account management, participation at exhibitions and conferences as well as assisting with the branding of products through channels such as social media and web-based applications.
What are we looking for?
First of all, it is highly important that you have the hunger and ambition for this role, or, perhaps we should say - you need to have a sincere passion for developing something new. You need to have relevant experience from sales and business development within the shipping industry and therefore have an already significant network. It would also be a bonus if you have of ship performance systems and integrated bridge applications. Finally, this position requires a degree from university within either business, marketing or engineering.

We are looking to speak with candidates based anywhere in Norway, although you will be required to work in Asker 1-2 days per week unless away on business travel. You are required to be fluent in English and preferably Norwegian. Doesn`t hurt if you speak German.
