Job description

As the Vice President of Business Development your primary goal will be to grow OncoImmunity’s business by fostering relationships and executing deals with key biopharma players in the immune-oncology field. You will be an active member of the management team and will help shape the company’s commercial and corporate strategy in order to improve product penetration rates, profitability and identify new market opportunities for OncoImmunity’s software. You will manage the required external resources to deliver on your objectives and will be responsible for building the company’s business development function in both the EU and US. The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package.

 

Roles and responsibilities

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:


  • Develop a commercial strategy in collaboration with the management team
  • Build a business development function with an on the ground presence in both the EU and US
  • Maintain and pursuing current leads
  • Identify new sales leads
  • Develop a tailored commercial strategy for prioritized leads
  • Tailor term sheets and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Manage external resource in support of the BD activities and function 
  • Maintain the maintaining the CRM
  • Present the company and its products
  • Develop BD material (sales decks, white papers etc.)
  • Establish other relevant types of contracts when required to support the business i.e. CDAs, MSAs, MTAs, consultancy and collaborative agreements
  • Provide business intelligence and competitive analysis
  • Identify and exploit trends and technologies in the cross-disciplinary fields of oncology, medical technology and machine learning
  • Perform financial modelling
  • Attend and actively participate and represent the company in relevant industry trade shows and events
  • Network with industry groups to keep up-to-date on markets, customer activities, and new opportunities or threats
  • Collaborate actively with the science, technical and regulatory teams to bring added value to the offer for the client

 

Skills and experience

We are looking for a dynamic experienced, enthusiastic and self-driven BD professional with the following skills and experience:

 

  • Extensive BD experience and strong track record at executing deals
  • Experience in the biotech, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence and/or health IT industry.
  • An advanced degree in a relevant discipline
  • In-depth knowledge of the immune-oncology and personalized medicine fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong networking and presentation skills
  • Detail-orientated with strong organization skills
  • Willingness for international travel
  • Team player who can maintain collaborative relationships across the organization
