We are looking for a new Business Consultant - Application Management to join our global technology powerhouse, specialized in energy and dedicated to enabling a more sustainable future.

Are you an experienced Application Management / Lifecycle consultant who sees a connection between the business needs to be solved, technology choices and scope?

Then you are the right person to help expand and boost our Application Portfolio Management Service offering.

As part of our AM team, you will:

• Be responsible for Lifecycle Management of application portfolios for selected customers and/or business domains

• Manage and govern application documentation

• Facilitate application testing and coordinate version upgrades and other relevant changes

• Collaborate closely with Application Vendor, key user at customer site and technical personnel.

• Ensure application support/assistance is provided by Vendors or internal Cegal

• Optimize and deliver on Application License Management

• Provide application advisory during assessment and renewal, and assist with application acquisition

• Identify improvements to our service and be part of implementing improvements

• Participate in improvement or innovation projects

Who are you?

• Extensive knowledge about IT, with understanding of application requirements and dependencies

• You have excellent communication and documentation skills (both in English and in Norwegian)

• You are genuinely concerned with bringing value to customer

• Structured, organized and with a strong sense of accountability

• Motivated by continous learning and personal development

Want to stand out as an applicant? We are particularly interested if you have:

• Previous IT work experience in the oil & gas industry

• Relevant certifiactions within ITIL or scrum

• Knowledge of various application license technology such as FlexLM

• Relevant project experience

• Familiarity with workflows within Subsurface applications
