We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Manager – Global IT Operations to lead the operational delivery of outsourced IT services across our global enterprise. This role is based in Fornebu, Oslo and will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across ServiceDesk, Infrastructure, cloud, workplace, network, and security domains.
The ideal candidate will be strategic and a hands-on leader, capable of managing vendor relationships, contractual compliance, coordinating with regional IT teams, and aligning services with business needs across all locations.
What will you be doing?
Global Service Delivery
Oversee daily operations and service delivery across all areas of IT services.
Ensure consistent performance across geographies in alignment with SLAs and KPIs.
Drive service improvements and operational efficiencies with the outsourcing partner.
Regional & Local Coordination
Act as the central coordination point for local IT contacts in branch offices and regional hubs.
Ensure regional service needs are integrated into global delivery plans.
Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of service issues across locations.
Business Engagement
Interface with business units to align IT services with operational priorities.
Collaborate with the Business Applications team to ensure infrastructure operations support application performance and availability.
Conduct regular service reviews and feedback sessions with business stakeholders.
Contract & Vendor Management
Monitor and manage outsourcing partner performance against contractual obligations.
Support contract governance, including renewals, amendments, and financial oversight.
Lead service performance reviews and ensure compliance with service scopes and terms.
Service Management & ITSM
Work closely with the ITSM Lead to ensure effective use of ServiceNow for incident, change, and request management.
Promote automation and self-service capabilities through ServiceNow.
Ensure global consistency in service management processes and reporting.
Architecture & Strategic Alignment
Collaborate with internal architects to ensure service delivery aligns with enterprise architecture and transformation goals.
Support strategic projects within the relevant areas.
Continuous Improvement
Evolve the global IT operating model to better align with changing business needs and strategic priorities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and user experience.
We think you should have:
Qualifications
Educational background: University level or relevant experience
8+ years of relevant experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or service delivery roles.
Proven experience managing outsourced IT services and coordinating across global teams.
Strong understanding of ITIL and enterprise service management practices.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow as a service management tool.
Experience working with business applications, architecture, and security teams.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
ITIL v4 Foundation
SIAM (Service Integration and Management)
Prince2 or equivalent project/program management certification
Any relevant Microsoft certifications in Workplace & Cloud area.
