Full Flight Simulator Training Device Technician

We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled technicians to support the operation of a state-of-the-art helicopter simulator at our training centre in Sola, Norway.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the simulator runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to high-quality training experiences for our aviation professionals. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and highly specialized environment at the forefront of aviation training.

Personal skills

For this role, a solid understanding of technology is essential — particularly in the following areas:

• Basic electrical engineering and mechanical principles
• Project management fundamentals - Eperience in planning, coordinating and executing technical tasks

In addition, for the developments of upcoming projects, it would be preffered if you have experience with:

• Programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and C++

Norwegian Competence Center Helicopter (NCCH) provides advanced helicopter crew training, specializing in various mission profiles including HEMS, law enforcement, VIP services, and offshore operations, focused on Helicopter Pilot Professionalism and Safety.

We operate state-of-the-art full flight simulators and partner with RotorSky, an EASA Approved Training Organisation (ATO), to deliver training for H135 and H145 operators and offer comprehensive programs based on Original Equipment Manufacturers' (OEM) recommendations.

Norwegian Competence Centre Helicopter (NCCH) is directly located at Sola airport business area (just at 10 minutes walking distance from the gate).

The marvellous area around Stavanger is known to be a popular tourist attraction. Besides connoting beautiful fiords, unique rock formations and lovely Norwegian people, Stavanger is also known to be the major hub for offshore and regular helicopter operations.
