Do you want to be our next Field Engineer - Insulation?

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: several Insulation Field Engineers for a project at Stord.

This is 14/21 day rotation, that starts in January.
 
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 

What will you be doing?

• Assist the production with solving of technical problems during the execution of building- or installation work at a construction site

• Assist the production with interpretation of drawings and job packages

• Support Fabrication Engineering with technical documentation and solutions.

• Continually strive for good HSSE and quality performance throughout the work

• Seek for continual improvement of work processes and products within own responsibility area

• Contribute to interface up against relevant disciplines: Fabrication Engineering, Planning department and Production etc.

• Establish and follow up technical queries and seek Construction Friendly solutions

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Fluency in both Norwegian and English

• Solid knowledge of piping and equipment insulation work and associated requirements

• Familiarity with relevant project documentation, standards, and specifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or technician with relevant qualifications (extensive experience may compensate for formal education)

• Preferably certified FROSIO Level II

• Experience with work order creation and field engineering

• Strong collaboration skills, with a proactive and independent approach

• Proficiency in MIPS, CCS, and 3D tools
