About Cermaq Group

Cermaq is structured with a Group function and operating companies in Chile, Canada, and Norway. Cermaq Group consists of 39 employees located in Oslo and Bergen, working in global roles such as Finance, Communication, Sustainability, HR, Global IT, Legal, Fish Health, and Innovation.

As Head of Market & Industry Analysis, you will monitor and analyze key developments in the salmon market and broader industry trends. You will report directly to the CFO of Cermaq Group and provide analytical support for strategic projects and investment decisions.

The role is based in Oslo (Barcode), and some domestic and international travel is expected.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Conducting market analysis and forecasts on salmon prices, feed costs, and currency developments

• Performing competitor analysis and benchmarking

• Providing market updates and insights to senior management

• Supporting strategic initiatives, investment evaluations, and business development projects

  
  

You bring a sharp analytical mindset, commercial understanding, and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights. You enjoy working independently while collaborating across geographies and disciplines.

We believe you have:

• Higher education in a relevant field (e.g., finance, aquaculture, economics, and/or mathematics/statistics)

• Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling

• Fluency in English and Norwegian
