Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
What will you be doing?

• Plan, prepare, and execute Mechanical Completion (MC) activities within your area of responsibility

• Ensure all MC work complies with project procedures and timelines

• Lead and coordinate MC tasks to ensure safe and efficient execution

• Monitor and contribute to HSE planning and performance throughout MC work

• Provide input to budget and cost estimates for MC activities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of governing documents and work instructions

• Collaborate closely with relevant disciplines and teams to ensure smooth handover and progress

We think you should have:

• Solid understanding of discipline-specific work processes

• Minimum 2 years of experience from EPC projects within Topside, Facilities, or Renewable segments

• Must have valid EX, FSE and First Aid certifications

• Must have approved DSB for Norway if formal education is outside of Norway.

• Experience using MIPS, PCS systems (Pims or ProCoSys), Autodesk Simulate, and MS Office 365

• Technical degree or bachelor’s degree, relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
