KSAT is looking for a Team lead Asset & Scheduling!

As the System Development Manager for Asset and Scheduling, you will lead the development and operational efforts of one critical team, ensuring the delivery of secure, high-performing, and future-ready services. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, technical leadership, and people management to meet both current demands and long-term goals.As part of the Ground Network Products, developing new services and managing our applications, you will work closely with the GN Product Lead, other development teams, and stakeholders across KSAT to align on priorities, drive innovation, and ensure service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Delivery

• Plan, prioritize, and guide the team's work to deliver high-quality services.
• Structure workflows and decision-making processes to support continuous improvement in development practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  
  

People & Resource Management

• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop team members.
• Promote a positive, high-performing team environment.
• Manage budgeting and resource allocation effectively.
  
  

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all solutions meet functional, operational, security, and compliance requirements.
• Implement robust testing, code review, and quality assurance processes.
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding team services.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams and departments.
  
  

Operational Excellence

• Monitor and enhance service reliability, performance, and risk management.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and change management initiatives.
  
  

Technical Contribution

• Participate in coding, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the services, domain, and future direction.
  
  

Cross-Organizational Collaboration

• Engage in the KSAT-wide forum of software development managers.
• Share knowledge, align on best practices, and contribute to broader technical and business strategies.

Service Ownership - You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of KSAT's reservation services, including:

• Legacy Systems (KNOS): DayBrowser, AdminGUI, AcqMonitor, Ptah, gnhal, KMON
• Modern Systems (KOGS): Kvasir, Tyr, Heimdall, KOGNI, Customer Portal, Orbit Guard

This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
