Senior Technical Sales Advisor

As a Senior Technical Sales Advisor you will be part of a high-performing team of technical experts who play a critical role in winning complex deals and providing strategic advice to customers. In this role, you'll combine deep technical knowledge of cloud with strategic commercial insight to craft scalable, high-impact solutions for our customers across Cegal's Cloud & Services offerings.
You'll be accountable for driving the technical direction of strategic deals, shaping architectures that deliver real business value, and becoming a trusted advisor to our customers. You'll take ownership of:
Proactively driving technical and overall solution architecture with a strong focus on technical excellence, collaboration, and customer-centricity
Continuously developing your own relevant and next-gen technical competencies to stay ahead of customer needs and market demands
Leading the technical sales execution for major accounts and tenders, ensuring alignment between technology and tangible business value
Supporting sales teams with compelling solutions, tech positioning, and value articulation
Developing detailed solution blueprints, architectures, and proposals for complex, multi-service deals
Driving early engagement with product and delivery teams to ensure feasibility, scalability, and delivery excellence
Engaging with strategic customers as trusted advisors, co-creating technical roadmaps and understanding business drivers
Representing Cegal's technical capabilities and vision at the C-level, in industry events and strategic forums
Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Delivery, Customer Journey, Business Development Owners, and Bid Managers
Who are you?
You're not just technical — you're strategic, commercial, and a great communicator. You have a proven ability to influence, guide, and build trust with stakeholders across the customer journey.
Here's what you bring to the role:
Experience as a trusted advisor in technical sales, pre-sales, or solution architecture within IT services or software companies
Proven background in influencing and advising senior-level technical decision makers in customer-facing environments
Strong exposure to and competencies on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), as well as enterprise IT landscapes and managed services
Demonstrated success in navigating and winning complex deals (10M+ EUR), including CxO-level engagements
Strong commercial acumen, including an understanding of TCO and business case development
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business leaders
Proficiency in project scoping, RFP response, and proposal development
Experience with consultative selling and value-based selling methodologies
Growth-mindset, resilience and the ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
