Due to increased workload, we are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our technical department.

As part of our exciting and interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development and realization of both existing and new products. We deliver solutions and projects across a wide range of markets and to clients worldwide, aiming to support our customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their vessels and equipment

Our team of 200 employees develops and delivers complete systems and handling solutions to customers within the fisheries, aquaculture, marine research, seismic, and offshore industries. We are located on the rugged coast of Sunnmøre, and we also have a presence in Tønsberg. You will be an important part of our team delivering projects to clients around the globe.

As our new Senior Mechanical Engineer the responsibilities and main tasks are:

• Technical leadership of complex projects, ensuring successful execution and evaluation

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, solving complex challenges collaboratively

• Share knowledge, experience, and best practices within the group

• Develop new ideas and solutions, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation

• Ensure that products and deliverables meet high-quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and standards

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, understanding challenges and communicating technical concepts and solutions clearly

• Contribute to cost estimates, manage budgets, and ensure cost efficiency

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

• Solid technical education (Technical College/Bachelor’s/Master’s degree)

• Experience in relevant engineering roles, preferably with project management or technical leadership experience

• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and verbal

• Deep understanding, interest, and curiosity in relevant technologies, tools, and methods

• Ability to lead and motivate others and make sound decisions

• Analytical skills and creativity to solve complex problems

• Strong collaboration skills, both internally and externally, with a proactive approach to challenges

• Flexibility and adaptability to changes and new challenges

• Precision and attention to details to ensure high-quality of the work

• Innovative mindset with a drive to develop new solutions
