Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your analytical skills can make a real impact? We’re looking for a Planning Analyst to join our team in Sandefjord, Norway!
As a Planning Analyst, you’ll be part of our planning department, supporting factory operations, manning, and raw material needs. Your main focus will be on forecasting demand using existing seasonal data to support future planning and resource demands. You will be the superuser for our IFS Demand Planning tool—leveraging it to generate forecasts and hand off insights to the broader team.
What you will do
Develop and maintain forecasting models using historical data and market trends
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities
Provide insights to support planning, inventory, and financial decisions
Collaborate with stakeholders to align forecasts with business strategies
Utilize the IFS Demand Planning tool and continuously improve forecasting accuracy
Present findings using graphs, dashboards, and clear visualizations
Lead innovation and improvement process for forecasting

What we look for
Formal requirements:
Experience with forecasting techniques and statistical modeling
Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI
Bachelor’s or Master’s related to Data Analytics, Finance, Applied Statistics, or similar relevant fields
Personal requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration skills
Self-dependent and taking initiative
A curious mindset and a passion for data-driven decision-making
