Mechanical Technician for Cutting-Edge Technology Company

We are looking for a highly meticulous and disciplined Mechanical Technician to support the process development and manufacturing of our advanced X-ray sources. This hands-on role demands strict adherence to cleanroom protocols and standard operating procedures, as well as the capacity to execute high-precision mechanical tasks. The ideal candidate possesses a methodical mindset, is detail-oriented, and excels in environments where cleanliness, accuracy, and repeatability are crucial.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed manufacturing plans for X-ray source production, including sequencing of operations and process control.

• Ensure high-precision manufacturing in accordance with strict specifications and tight tolerances, within cleanrooms and controlled environments.

• Participate hands-on in critical operations, including assembly, brazing, and welding.

• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for failures in manufacturing processes.

• Design, develop, and refine tooling and equipment to improve manufacturability, reliability, and product quality.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, repeatability, and product performance.

• Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machines, High Vacuum Furnaces, and Laser Welding Stations.

• Maintain accurate records of test results, deviations, and component measurements.

Qualifications and requirements

• Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment layout, and process performance.

• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify issues and propose practical solutions.

• Proven ability to work independently while coordinating with engineering, quality, and production teams.

• High level of precision and attention to detail in both execution and documentation.

• Effective communication skills to convey technical issues, solutions, and procedural changes.

• Experience with quality control standards and environmental, health, and safety procedures.

  Preferred skills

• Experience in cleanroom and lab-based manufacturing environments.

• 5 years of similar experience

• Proficient in inspection, testing, and qualification of mechanical assemblies.

• Familiarity with precision joining processes such as brazing and welding under vacuum or inert atmosphere.

• Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance and basic repair of manufacturing equipment.
