Project Manager – Technology and System Solutions for Public Transport in the Nordics

Would you like to help shape the future of public transport in the Nordics? We are looking for a skilled and strategic Project Manager to lead complex technology projects across the Nordic region. Our solutions combine software and hardware and are used in critical public transport systems. As our project manager, you will lead customer projects with high demands on technical development, operational stability, and commercial awareness.

About the role

You will be responsible for managing projects for customers who regularly update and develop their solutions. These projects involve lifecycle management of both software and hardware, and require a project manager who understands system integration, upgrades, and technical dependencies over time.

You need to combine technical insight with commercial sense. Our most successful project managers are just as comfortable talking with developers as they are negotiating with customers’ financial managers.

Key responsibilities

·         Lead complex technology and system delivery projects

·         Ensure project deliveries are on time, within budget and scope

·         Collaborate closely with internal development teams, customers, and vendors

·         Manage lifecycle of both hardware and software components

·         Identify and mitigate risks using proactive analysis and structured methods

·         Drive continuous improvement using principles from PMP and Six Sigma

We are looking for someone who

·         Has a university degree in engineering, IT, or similar

·         Has at least 5 years of experience managing technology projects

·         Has worked with complex, technical products and customers

·         Understands the clients and long-term partnerships

·         Is fluent in both a Scandinavian language and English, written and spoken

·         Has strong interpersonal skills and builds trust over time

This position involves working with clients across the Nordics and includes some travel. Work location is flexible: Sweden, Denmark, Finland
