Join Green Energy Transition with Fred. Olsen Windcarrier!
Fred. Olsen Windcarrier is a market-leading player in the transportation and installation of offshore wind turbines. With over 25 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, we are proud to contribute to a more sustainable future as part of the Fred. Olsen group of offshore companies. Fred. Olsen Windcarrier operates three purpose-built jack-up vessels – Bold Tern, Brave Tern and Blue Tern – specially designed to meet the offshore wind industry’s high operational and safety standards, while also being capable of supporting other offshore heavy lifting operations.
We are now seeking an HSEQ & Sustainability Advisor to join our HSEQ & Sustainability team in Oslo. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with quality, health, safety and a sustainable future across both operations and projects, in an international and purpose-driven organization. The position will be shaped based on your level of experience – whether you bring solid HSEQ competence or are ready to take the next step in your career.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and follow up HSEQ & Sustainability reporting
- Conducting incident investigations
- Produce periodic HSEQ & Sustainability statistics and trend analysis
- Risk management and emergency preparedness activities
- Support and advise projects and the vessels in HSEQ & Sustainability related matters
- Develop, implement and maintain project HSEQ & Sustainability documentation
- Assist in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS)
- Conduct HSEQ audits internally and supplier audits
- Contribute to internal learning and HSEQ & Sustainability awareness across the organization
- Promote a strong HSEQ culture – and act if unsafe conditions arise
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds a relevant degree or certification within HSEQ, engineering, or maritime disciplines
- Has relevant HSEQ experience – preferably from offshore wind, maritime, energy or industrial sectors
- Is structured, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
- Has strong communication skills in English (Norwegian is an advantage)
- Is cooperative and comfortable working across departments and with international teams
- Understands the value of systems, data and people in creating a safe working environment
- Has hands-on experience with HSEQ tools and reporting – or the motivation to develop it
What We Offer:
At Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, you will be part of an organization where HSEQ & Sustainability is a top priority and where your work makes a real difference. We offer:
- A dynamic and cross-disciplinary work environment in the renewable sector
- A role with flexibility and opportunities for growth, adapted to your experience
- A team culture based on collaboration, professionalism, and shared purpose
- Competitive terms and strong benefits, including pension and insurance schemes
We value equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace and we encourage all qualified persons to apply for a job with us, regardless of gender, age, disabilities or cultural background.
