We currently have an exciting opportunity for Forward Planner to join our offshore Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily QHSE reports.
• Develop and finalize Detailed Operating Procedures (DOPs) with contractors, clients, and service providers.
• Conduct After Action Reviews, capture lessons learned, and update procedures.
• Prepare casing/liner tallies and perform cement and displacement calculations.
• Calculate pressures and volumes for well integrity tests (FIT/XLOT/LOT).
• Monitor operational KPIs and performance metrics.
• Identify operational risks and drive improvement initiatives.
• Ensure operational plans, permits, consumables, and equipment are ready and compliant.
• Facilitate planning meetings and ensure clear communication with clients and third parties.
• Oversee documentation updates and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Support revisions of drilling manuals and well control procedures.
• Maintain and develop technical competence in line with role requirements.

Suitable applicants should ideally have:

• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with offshore/onshore supervisors and client representatives.
• Proficient in IT tools, capable of producing and presenting Drilling Performance Statistics using software like RigManager, proNova, RMS software or similar.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical supervisory role within the drilling industry.
• Previous experience as Driller or Drilling Engineer.
• Engineering degree preferred but not essential; alternatively, a recognized technical qualification with significant oil and gas drilling experience.
