Join Us as a Business Controller in IWS Norway

One of NG Nordic’s business platforms is Industrial Waste Services (IWS). IWS is a new business platform offering full-scale waste services for industrial customers and removing hazardous substances from circulation.

IWS Norway is looking for a Business Controller to join our team. In this role, you will act as a finance business partner and drive performance through financial insight, planning and analysis. You'll work closely with both local and central stakeholders, supporting strategic initiatives with data-driven recommendations. The position will be part of the Nordic IWS Finance team and report to Director of Finance in IWS.

What you’ll do:

• Act as Finance Business Partner for IWS Norway

• Lead and deliver monthly performance reporting and analysis

• Drive business control and performance management across your area

• Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes for IWS Norway

• Support investment decisions, business cases and M&A evaluations

• Participate in the development and harmonization of tools and processes

• Provide key financial insights that support fact-based decision-making

• Serve as local key user for financial systems

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of experience from business controlling or financial analysis

• Master's degree in finance and/or other relevant subjects.

• Strong understanding of financial planning processes and tools

• Proven analytical mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach

• Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate clearly with stakeholders

• A positive, self-driven attitude and openness to change

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
