We are looking for an HVAC Field Engineer

Job Description

• Follow up on HVAC equipment delivered to the manufacturing location.
• Coordinate with contractor(s) to ensure deliveries align with scope, budget, and schedule.
• Provide input and clarifications to contractor(s), and maintain ongoing communication.
• Monitor and support the following activities:
  Installation and removal of temporary HVAC systems
  Installation of new permanent HVAC systems
  Modification of existing HVAC systems
• Support and follow up on construction issues with the contractor.
• Ensure effective communication with interface disciplines and contribute to issue resolution.
• Participate in the development of commissioning procedures for HVAC systems.
• Support testing and commissioning of:
  Temporary HVAC systems
  New permanent HVAC systems
  Modified HVAC systems
• Inspect installed equipment and follow up on punch list items.
• Support system handover to Commissioning and Operations teams.

 

Qualification Requirements

• BSc or MSc in HVAC or process technology
• Extensive experience in HVAC within oil and gas projects may compensate for lack of formal education
• Experience from similar positions
• Strong focus on HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
• Proficient in using:
  ProCoSys
  Fusion
  STID
• Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English (written and spoken)
• Loyal, reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
• EITA – Discipline professional requirements and multidisciplinary understanding

Rotation: 15-20 Hammerfest 

Sporadic trips to Haugesund and Asker
