Take ownership of security

At Instech Solutions, we develop advanced software for the marine and energy insurance industry — where reliability and security are critical. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Security Architect or a Senior Developer with strong security expertise to strengthen how we design, build and operate secure solutions. 

You’ll join a highly skilled team that takes pride in clean code, solid architecture and long-term thinking. Security is not a final checkmark for us, but something we integrate throughout design, development, operations and continuous improvement. We invest in people, technology and processes — and we are looking for someone who shares that mindset. 

In this role, you’ll lead security efforts across our software portfolio, drive secure coding, threat modeling and DevSecOps practices, and advise on architecture, design, testing and incident response.  

You will contribute to further improve our Microsoft Secure Score and Azure Security Advisor posture, and review and approve new tools, components and libraries. Collaboration with our platform team, product teams and compliance will be part of your daily work as we strengthen security awareness and technical excellence across the organization. 

We believe you have 5+ years of relevant experience, solid knowledge of secure development, OWASP and threat modeling, and hands-on experience with penetration testing and secure development lifecycle. You are a strong communicator, fluent in English, and preferably also Norwegian.
