The Embassy of Switzerland in Oslo is looking for a Political- and Economic Advisor to drive the politics, economics, culture and communication agenda with Norway and Iceland.

Your tasks

• Research, analysis and reporting, particularly on political and economic issues in
  Norway and Iceland

• Contacts with relevant interest groups

• Management of social media

• Promoting trade and tourism

• Organising small cultural projects

• Various administrative tasks  

• Representation tasks

Your profile

• University degree (Bachelor's/Master's) in law, political science, international relations, economics or related fields.

• A few years' professional experience

• Interest in politics and international relations and in bilateral relations between Switzerland and Norway/Iceland

• Excellent analytical and writing skills

• Very good command of Norwegian and English (spoken and written)

• Good knowledge of German and/or French

• Good communication and contact management skills

• Committed and outgoing personality, interpersonal skills, team spirit

• Good knowledge of MS-Office

Terms and conditions

• Open-ended employment contract with attractive conditions of employment

• 6-months’ trial period

• Start date: November 2025 (or date to be agreed).
