Sensio | Business Controller

On behalf of Sensio, we are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Controller to support and challenge local management and business units by providing high-quality financial insight and decision support. The role acts as a key partner to the organization, helping to drive performance, improve efficiency, and ensure sound financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted financial advisor to local leadership and business units
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
• Take ownership of setting up and maintaining P&L statements for business areas, and ensure accuracy through regular reviews
• Perform P&L reviews and support the month-end close process, including accruals and other closing-related calculations
• Extract, structure, and consolidate data from various systems and sources to support financial analysis and decision-making
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive data-driven decision making
• Participate actively in monthly business reviews and performance dialogues with local and group management
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand business drivers and cost structures
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and procedures
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and management presentations as required

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience from audit or controlling
• Strong system and Excel skills. Experience with BI tools is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative mindset
