Project Manager needed! Join Jefferson Wells for a major Capex assignment in Oslo.
Jefferson Wells is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a long-term assignment with our client in Oslo. We are looking for someone with solid experience from complex Capex projects, ideally involving vessel equipment construction and integration of electrical, hydraulic, and control systems. The assignment is scheduled to start as soon as possible and will last for a minimum of 12 months.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading one or more projects through all phases of execution, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality and HSE standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Overall project management, including planning, progress, cost, quality, risk, and resource management.

Ensuring execution in line with project mandates and internal expectations (QHSER, financials, time).

Managing a geographically distributed team and coordinating effectively across departments and disciplines.

Leading subcontract management and ensuring alignment with contract requirements.

Reporting to internal stakeholders, including the Steering Committee and VP Installation, on a regular basis.

Driving continuous improvement and sharing lessons learned across the organization.

Supporting system and competence development within the business group.
Background and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who bring:

A university degree in engineering (MSc, BSc) or equivalent.

A minimum of 5 years' experience managing complex Capex projects.

Experience with system testing and certification processes.

Strong financial understanding and the ability to manage risk.
-
Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
