Experienced Bunker Trader
We are expanding and therefore looking for an experienced, highly sales- and team-oriented Trader who, with a commercial mindset, is motivated by sales and business development. It is important that you possess the necessary Key Account and stakeholder management skills to create value for our customers as well as for us.

Junior Bunker Trader
In this role, you will be introduced to our trading tools, platforms, and network. You will develop an understanding of the bunker market and begin building your own relationships and sourcing channels.
This position is ideal for someone commercially minded, motivated by sales, and eager to grow within an international team. A collaborative attitude and curiosity to learn are essential.
A role with great responsibility and development
As our new Bunker Trader, you will join a team of professionals who share industry acumen and a commitment to trading. You will play a major part in providing the foundation for new business growth and added selling-in on existing accounts. You will be responsible for establishing strong relationships within the industry.
Your areas of responsibility will include:
Purchase, sale, and supply of fuel and lube oil within the shipping industry
Initiating contact with new clients and establishing good relationships
Expanding and nurturing existing customer relationships
Negotiating prices and delivering services based on agreed terms
Identifying business opportunities and supporting business development activities
Understanding customer requirements, providing guidance, and closing deals
Exposure to day-to-day trading of bunker fuel and working closely with both internal and external stakeholders
In addition, you:
Possess great negotiation skills
Can analyze current market shares and spot new trends and opportunities
Enjoy travelling internationally and domestically to meet clients and business prospects
Speak Norwegian and English fluently. Knowledge of additional languages is positive.

An experienced sales profile with strong interpersonal skills and a commercial mindset
To take on the Bunker Trader position effectively, you need to be a person with stamina and well-developed commercial insight. You do not necessarily need to have experience within our industry but should be a seasoned sales-driven professional. You are capable of managing a sales process involving multiple key stakeholders.
For the role of Experienced Bunker Trader, we believe you hold 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the industry — though this is not a requirement. Most importantly, you are ambitious, reliable, detail-oriented, goal-driven, and have a hunter mentality.
