The role - Responsibilities and tasks:

• Participate in Delfin execution project team to manage/supervise process design and process related activities for the FLNG from the start of detail engineering through to commercial operations

• Additional project support activities related to topside, utility, power, safety and interface design aspects

• Support the development and growth of the FLNG project team

• Report to the Project Manager

The position is located at the office in Oslo and travel will be expected.

The ideal candidate for the position will present a good combination of the following:

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Experience from managing/supervising process design and process related activities

• Experience from process engineering

• Experience from liquefaction system design and engineering (pre-treatment, liquefaction, utilities)

• Experience from working with topside, utility, power, safety and interface design aspects

• Experience from FEED / Engineering / Execution / Commissioning / Operations

• Experience from collaboration between engineering – execution – operations

•  >8 years of experience from (F)LNG/FPSO industry

SKILLS 

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Norwegian language skills is beneficial

• Excellent communication and cooperation skills

• Strong ability to engage and take initiatives 

EDUCATION

• M.Sc. in process engineering/technology or chemistry

Delfin Midstream is a private US company that owns the “Delfin LNG Project”. Delfin LNG is an LNG export project offshore Louisiana which uses floating LNG technology to produce LNG from US natural gas. The project completed all permitting work and has secured major commercial agreements with LNG buyers.  The technical, execution and pre-ops team is located in Norway and is responsible for all development work and the execution of the project, with additional teams in the US and at the shipyard.
