Assistant Department Manager – Ålesund
Play a pivotal role in shaping guest experiences and operational success in one of Norway's key tourist destinations.
As an Assistant Department Manager in Ålesund, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our guest experiences and ensuring operational excellence in the tourism industry. Your contributions will directly impact our success and reputation.
Strong English communication skills; proficiency in German is a plus but not required
Experience in customer service, sales, or tourism
Inspires and collaborates effectively with team members in dynamic environments
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call
Good organizational and leadership skills
Valid work permit in Norway
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be a vital part of our operations team, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
Assist the Department Manager with daily operations
Support and supervise ticket sales and service staff
Ensure excellent customer service and smooth logistics
Train and guide new team members
Report operational issues to central management
