Category Manager

About the Position: We are seeking a skilled Category Manager in procurement and logistics to lead and develop our logistics and procurement strategies. The position involves responsibility for category management, global synchronization, and the rollout of Transport Management System (TMS). Logistics includes road, air and sea transport.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for category management in procurement and logistics.

• Ensure global synchronization of procurement and logistics processes.

• Lead the rollout of TMS to optimize transport and logistics.

• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities and risks.

• Manage product development initiatives to enhance logistics solutions.

• Assess and mitigate capacity risks to ensure seamless logistics operations.

• Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial impact.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and carriers.

• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient logistics flow.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in procurement or category management, with a focus on logistics.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.

• Experience with logistics contracts, KPIs, and supplier management.

• Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
