Senior Project Engineer

As Reach Subsea continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Project Engineer to strengthen our high-performing engineering team. In this role, you will take a lead in ensuring robust engineering methods, supporting project execution from planning to offshore operations.

The Senior Project Engineer shall contribute to continuous improvement and development of the engineering work delivered by Reach Subsea and support the Project Engineers. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the quality and consistency of our project deliveries, and to play a key part in the continuous improvement of how we work across the subsea value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Implement & follow-up engineering work methods.
• Support Project Engineers, with professional and method related issues.
• Engineering and technical delivery of the assigned project scope of work.
• Identify and report improvements to the engineering process.
• Ensure that lessons learned are collated on a continuous basis throughout the duration of the project and write an experience feedback report at the end of the project.
• Assist with the technical evaluation of tenders and develop method statements.
• Assist Project Manager, Offshore Manager and Shift Supervisors with knowledge acquired during planning and execution of the offshore operation.

The key qualifications we are looking for

• BSC or higher graduation within Subsea.
• Mechanical/Marine/Naval Engineering, or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within subsea, ROV, etc.

Skills

Leadership skills, proven professional skills, analytical thinking, problem solving, writing and presentation.

Experience and Knowledge

Specific knowledge of engineering & HSE standards and legislation, demonstrated knowledge of offshore operations and subsea engineering. Knowledge within ROV related subsea projects is beneficial.
