Join a leading team driving excellence in material planning

Do you have a background in engineering and experience in material planning or logistics? Jefferson Wells is looking for a skilled Material Planner to join our client’s Operational Excellence Team. This is a long-term assignment where you will be employed by Jefferson Wells.

Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Material Planner, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing procurement plans based on demand forecasts and historical data

• Aligning material supply with production and project requirements

• Analyzing Bill of Quantities to determine material needs

• Coordinating with project management, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless material flow

• Establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving material planning procedures and routines

Background and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with:

• Higher education in engineering

• At least three years of experience as a material planner, or in logistics or engineering roles

• Strong skills in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage

• A collaborative mindset and ability to coordinate across functions

• Personal traits such as being forward-thinking, solution-oriented, and adaptable

• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
