NOV Subsea Production Systems is seeking a skilled and motivated Subsea Project Engineer to join our team in Stavanger or Oslo, Norway. In this key role, you will lead the technical execution of work packages from design through to delivery and installation, ensuring compliance with client expectations, timelines, and budget. You will be the main technical point of contact across disciplines, suppliers, and customers—driving success through precision and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead assigned work packages, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, timeline, and budget
• Ensure all technical specifications, standards, and inspection plans are met
• Serve as the main technical liaison for suppliers, customers, and internal teams
• Review and approve supplier documentation, managing design changes and risks
• Oversee documentation and hardware handover for testing and installation
• Support procurement, quality assurance, and fabrication follow-up activities

Qualifications:

Essential:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Relevant experience in the subsea oil and gas industry
• Proven ability to manage technical packages or scopes
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor preferred)

Desired:
• Familiarity with simulation tools and subsea codes/standards
• Skilled in interpreting fabrication drawings and technical documentation
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities
• Fluency in English (Norwegian is an advantage)
