Our new Solutions Engineer – Evolving Responsibilities 

Here is what you will take on as you build confidence and expertise:

• Become a WeldEye expert – learn the platform, understanding how it addresses welding management, quality control, and documentation challenges at the client. 

• Run product demos, workshops and training sessions 

• Join customer meetings to build relationships and gain industry insight, becoming a trusted technical advisor 

• Contribute to technical content for webinars and marketing ‘ 

• Support feature testing and help gather customer feedback to shape future product improvements 

• Developing user documentation and training materials that align with industry expectations 

• Be part of evolving support and training initiatives, like WeldEye Academy, as these services continue to grow 

Professional Qualifications & Background 

There are many ways to gain the qualifications needed for this role—through formal education, hands-on experience, or both. What matters most is your ability to understand the field, connect the dots, and bring insight into action. Here's what we're looking for: 

• Education from a Technical College or Engineering School – ideally in welding, mechanical engineering, or another relevant field 

• Practical experience from the welding industry – preferably with hands-on knowledge from production or as a welder 

• Strong understanding of welding workflows, including design, execution, documentation, and follow-up (e.g. NDT) 

• Familiarity with welding standards and requirements across European, American, or international markets—or the ability to learn them quickly and apply them in practice 

• Experience from industries with high welding quality demands (e.g. energy, oil & gas, defence) is a plus 

• Knowledge of quality assurance, efficiency improvement, and the value of digitalization in industrial settings 

• Proficient in English, written and spoken
