YOUR FUTURE ENVIRONMENT

Eiffage, together with Budimex and Rizzani de Eccher, is part of a consortium delivering the civil engineering and track-laying works for the 230 km Latvian section of the Rail Baltica high-speed rail line.

This strategic project aims to connect the Baltic States to the European rail network, linking Helsinki to Warsaw, and to support the development of a single European market through improved transport interoperability.

The section awarded to ERB Rail is designed for speeds of 249 km/h for passenger trains and 120 km/h for freight.

YOUR MAIN TASKS

As a Site Engineer specialized in earthworks and roadworks, you play a key role in the daily supervision and coordination of construction activities on site. You will ensure that execution is carried out efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with design, quality, and regulatory requirements

Site supervision

• Support the Site Manager in daily operations

• Oversee earthworks and roadworks execution

• Read and apply technical drawings and specs

Quality & Safety

• Enforce HSE standards

• Perform quality checks and site inspections

• Take part in drills and incident reviews

Coordination & Compliance

• Keep site records updated (logs, materials, etc.)

• Assist with surveys and measurements

• Address technical issues as they arise

• Ensure compliance with all standards and requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in site engineering or a similar role, ideally on earthworks or roadwork projects
Strong knowledge of construction regulations and site organization
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
Fluent in English (B1 minimum); Latvian is a plus
