Senior Developer (Eager to Learn Rust)

As a Senior Developer at Zrch AS, you’ll be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing high-performance software solutions. We recognize that not everyone has experience with Rust, but we expect you to be ready and excited to learn. With our support, you’ll dive into Rust and become proficient while contributing to impactful projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect, develop, and maintain efficient, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to analyze requirements and deliver quality software.
• Conduct code reviews, debug complex issues, and ensure high standards for performance and security.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other developers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and contribute to our continuous improvement culture.
• Work with Microservices, Eventstore, Elastic, Redis, Kubernetes and AWS.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with expertise in one or more languages (e.g., C++, Python, Go, Java, etc.).
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and effective communication.
• A passion for mastering Rust, with a commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Nice to Have (But Not Required):

• Prior exposure to Rust or personal projects that used Rust.
• Background in systems programming or an interest in exploring this field.
• Contributions to the open-source community or a strong interest in open-source projects.
