DNV is now looking for young professionals who are ready to start their journey with us in August 2025. 

Maritime industry needs to reduce the CO2 emissions from international shipping, and DNV is a key player to help the industry reach these goals.

We strongly believe that our digitalization initiatives provided by our unit are important measures in reaching these necessary goals the coming years. We constantly innovate to make the most of data and technology.

We are developing a rich and varied portfolio of applications that are deployed worldwide to more than 10 000 users in over 100 countries. The combined solution of these ~300 applications support all aspects of the business for both our customers and internal users - and are delivered continuously several times per week.

We deliver modern business-to-business services both on-prem and in the cloud on a .NET/web-based technology stack using best practice agile methods. We are also continuously improving our cloud-based application hosting platform and our solution for smart use of sensor data. 

What to expect as a Digital Trainee in Class Development?

• You will take part in real problem solving finding attractive solutions for thousands of customers worldwide
• You will join a dedicated development team working close with customers, domain experts, developer, UX designers, architects, data scientists/AI experts and testers
• You will take part in building solutions with a global impact
• As a Digital Trainee you will get familiarized with our Maritime business worldwide, e.g. stay abroad for a period of 4-5 months during the program.
• You will have your own mentor
• You will join networks like DNV Connect and DNV IT Graduates

About you:

We are interested in hearing from you who finalize your degree in spring 2025 and have specialized within Software Development.
