Finance Manager
Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, and reports to support relevant stakeholders. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, identifying improvement areas, and implementing strategies to optimize Scanship’s operations. You will work closely with the Group finance team and other key personnel in our operations, and report to the Group Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Develop and maintain business model analyses for Maritime and Industrial Solutions contracts
- Analyze financial data, provide recommendations to key stakeholders, and implement changes to enhance financial performance
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in relevant financial and transformation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain efficient control processes, ensuring accurate reporting of operating costs, project revenues, and costs
- Support the project controller team and follow up on general business performance and investments
- Contribute to financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting with the Group Finance team
- Review and analyze cost efficiency and its impact on value creation
- Optimize and improve working capital through review and analysis
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, business planning, preferably with experience in auditing
- Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of accounting
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Solution-oriented, structured, and accurate
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Experience with PowerBI, Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage
