We are looking for a motivated Procurement and Operations Specialist to join our team in changing the future of video meetings.
As a Procurement and Operations Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our innovative solutions to customers worldwide. From New Product Introduction (NPI) to End-of-Life (EOL), our operations team is at the heart of our organization, collaborating closely with internal departments, manufacturers, and suppliers to drive success.
You will use your expertise and knowledge to make data-driven decisions, lead procurement initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of the organization. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership over the Supply Chain within the company.
Responsibilities
- Strategize Supply Chain Management: Manage inventory, streamline supply chain processes, and cultivate strong vendor relationships to optimize the flow of materials and products, including occasional travel to suppliers' sites for relationship-building and process improvement.
- Resolve Operational Challenges: Act as a central point of contact for troubleshooting operational issues and escalating concerns, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.
- Procurement Leadership: Lead procurement initiatives by issuing RFQs, negotiating favorable terms, and continually refining our procurement strategy to enhance efficiency.
- Set Up New Processes and Systems: We continuously seek for improvement! Improve, develop and implement new processes and systems to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including product management, engineering, logistics, and quality control, to synchronize efforts and maintain smooth operations.
- Drive Project Success: Represent procurement and operations in new projects, preparing the supply chain for successful product launches, and collaborating closely with R&D on technology, supplier selection, and value engineering. Similarly support our product life cycle until end of sales and end of life.
- Efficient Resource Management: Issue and manage purchase orders, leveraging your analytical skills and attention to detail to optimize resource allocation.
Skills and qualifications
- 0 to 5 Years of Relevant Experience: We encourage graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow within a dynamic & global organization to apply.
- Educational Background: A university degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Finance provides the foundational knowledge needed for success in this role.
- Negotiation Expertise: Demonstrated experience (or interest) in contract evaluation and negotiations, particularly for volume products, will be invaluable in driving procurement efficiency.
- Proactive Team Player: Bring a self-driven, proactive approach to your work, coupled with a collaborative mindset that fosters teamwork and innovation.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools equips you to make informed, strategic decisions that drive operational excellence.
- Attention to Detail: Your analytical skills and your attention to detail ensure that every aspect of our operations is finely tuned for success.

This position is located at our office in Oslo. You will need to have a valid work permit for Norway. Start date is set to January 1st, 2025, or otherwise agreed upon.
