To support our journey, we are looking for a Dynamic Process Simulations & Flow Assurance Specialist to join the team.
The primary location will be Bergen or Oslo, with Trondheim and Stavanger as potential alternatives.
You will join a team of experienced engineers who leverage their diverse knowledge, skills, and insights to optimize processes and drive energy transition initiatives across low-carbon oil and gas, offshore wind, CCUS, and hydrogen sectors.
What will you be doing?
- Perform integrated dynamic modeling and advanced process control of oil & gas and CO2 processing facilities, spanning from early phase concepts to major modification projects
- Perform flow assurance analyses and simulations of oil & gas production systems and along the CO2 value chain
- Develop and implement operational scenarios and strategies for safe design, modification and operation of new and existing processing facilities
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure process and flow assurance considerations are integrated into overall facility design
- Conduct assessments on existing production systems and recommend modifications to optimize production
What expertise you will bring to the team:
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in oil & gas and CO2 processing technologies
- Excellent understanding of process control systems and instrumentation
- Proficiency in process simulation software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) and other decarbonization technologies is an advantage
- Ability to lead and coordinate multidiscipline activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
