Seadrill is now looking to strengthen our Corporate Finance team, and are looking for a Internal Auditor for our Corporate office to be responsible for delivering a full range of auditing and compliance services to the Seadrill Corporate organization.
Seadrill is looking for a person who is independent, service minded, outgoing and can take on various finance and auditing tasks and responsibilities in a fast growing environment.
Job description
- Perform financial, operational, and compliance Internal Audit reviews and other special projects
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of Internal controls as well as compliance with company policies and procedures of key processes across the organization
- Identify control weaknesses, accounting/reporting deficiencies and/or business productivity/efficiency opportunities
- Manage the Internal audit co-sourcing requirements and special projects requiring outside consultants, including selection and evaluation of personnel assigned to engagements
- Document and review process flow narratives, identify key controls, perform and review testing and document conclusions effectively
Work with management to identify corrective actions for improvement given existing business and control risks and other cost-benefit considerations
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Masters level in Business Administration/Auditing, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 6 years audit experience (oil and gas industry knowledge is a plus)
- Profiessional Certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.) is required
- Knowledge of standards, regulations and requirement within the industry
- Good language skills, both oral and written

Additional Details
This position will be located in our head office in Stavanger, Norway
Approximately 30% travel is to be expected per annum
