About the jobB2B (business-to-business) is the most important growth area for Elkjøp Nordic looking ahead, and a central part of Elkjøp's overall company strategy. We are now strenghening the B2B team with this critical role.
The Head of Business Development B2B is a central role in the Nordic B2B team and plays a pivotal role in driving growth and revenue for the company. This role requires a combination of strategic vision, strong leadership, and hands-on execution to identify new business opportunities, forge relationships with key stakeholders, and expand the company's market presence.
Typical responsibility is to define, develop and explore new commercial ideas (e.g. financing, leasing, product-as-a-service, new business areas, new business models), and to manage the business development portfolio across B2B. Further, the role will be central in ensuring that we move from idea to execution.
The role has direct personal leadership responsibility. With that, the role needs to lead, develop and inspire a team within B2B business development at Nordic HQ, and through that lay the foundation to create tangible results for B2B in all Nordic markets.
The role requires a deep commercial mindset, structured way of working, excellent communication skills, deep understanding of B2B partner and sales processes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders.

- Masters's degree in business administration, finance, operational excellence, logistics, or a related field (relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal educational qualifications)
- Proven track record of success in B2B business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within a retail and/or B2B
- Proven track record as a project manager with ability to ensure progress, ensure clear communication and fully achieve business objectives
- Preferably, have more than 3 years of experience from Business development
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with the capacity to identify market opportunities, assess competitive threats, and develop actionable plans
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders at all levels
- Results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and individuals to achieve ambitious goals – also indirectly in other teams
- Ability to set clear goals, provide guidance, and drive performance
- Collaborative and capable of building trust in teams
