As an independent PortCo with its own board and management structure, OCS is evolving. Our future organization will focus on three categories: confectionery, snacks, and biscuits. This structure aims to enhance cost efficiency, harmonization, and investment in our brands, factories, and expertise.
The Role
We are seeking a highly capable Finance Manager to strengthen our finance function and support the development of the new OCS operating model. In this role, you will foster a high-performing and collaborative culture, building and retaining a strong team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee internal financial reporting to PortCo, Board of Directors, and Orkla ASA.
- Support Orkla ASA's external reporting and communication with investors.
- Conduct financial analysis for projects and PortCo.
- Coordinate the annual budget and strategy process.
- Oversee internal risk reporting.
- Manage treasury/loan funding routines, cash flow analysis/forecasting, and capital allocation processes.
- Develop and standardize financial controlling and reporting templates across PortCo.
- Govern and enhance common financial management systems, including Tagetik, and serve as the Center of Excellence for financial reporting tools and software.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support, enhance, and develop the new OCS operating model.
- You'll be directly responsible for managing and developing a team of two finance professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking finance professional who can build trustful relationships across the organization and leverage financial insights to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in finance, controlling, or analysis (accounting/audit experience beneficial but not required).
- Strong understanding of capital markets.
- Excellent financial analysis skills and the ability to translate financial insights into business implications.
- Operational business unit experience and/or controlling experience is beneficial.
- FMCG experience and full value chain knowledge preferred but not required.
- Leadership experience preferred but not mandatory.
- High proficiency in relevant IT tools (MS Office, BI tools, consolidation systems, accounting systems, etc.), with solid expertise in Excel modelling and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in a Scandinavian language is preferred.

Place of work
Primary office location in one of our office locations in the Nordics & Baltics (Oslo, Solna, Vallensbæk Strand, Søndersø, Turku. Vantaa, Riga, Tallinn, Reykjavík). Occasionally travelling expected in role.
