The Study Manager position will be an important and recognised role in Ocean Installer with significant opportunity to influence our business, organisation and work environment. The position will have global responsibility and report to the Front End Project Director

What we can offer you
If we look beyond the fact that you would get to work with some of the greatest minds in our industry, extraordinary people from all over the world, here’s some of the things you can expect as a Study Manager in Ocean Installer:- Responsible for the technical execution of concept and FEED studies with focus on technical excellence, flawless execution, reducing cost & maximizing profit without compromise to quality or safety
- Daily management of all SURF (Subsea, Umbilical, Riser and Flowline) study work from feasibility/concept stage and into FEED including SURF installation studies
- Lead high competent, multi discipline study team within following segments of the industry:
- Offshore Field Developments
- Renewables
- Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF)
- Tow and Mooring Operations
- Decommissioning
- Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM)
- Client liaison, supervision and guidance to internal resources and follow-up of subcontractors necessary to complete the studies, with focus on value to the client, the project and Ocean Installer
- Develop robust, safe and optimised methods and offshore execution strategies, including focus on integration, engineering, fabrication and installation schedule
- Development of methodologies and procedures for subsea construction, decommissioning, towing or mooring installation/repair operations
- Produce technical deliverables in conjunction with draughting, planning and support from other engineers
- Focus on reducing cost & maximizing profit without compromise to quality or safety

So, if you do possess some of these qualities, we could be a perfect match:
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
- Significant experience within the subsea industry specifically related to studies, North Sea and International field development projects including EPCI contracts
- Experience with a wide range of clients in different regions
- Engineering (or science related) degree, Master or Bachelor
- Results oriented with the ability to act decisively
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Good workload and time management skills
