Task Lead

From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

Aker Solutions is now looking for a Task Lead with experience from onshore or offshore projects. The project is led from Bergen.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the Work/Project is performed in accordance with the project execution model and in accordance with schedule.
• Ensure that the Work/Project is performed focused on HSSE, quality and improvements aspects within the budgets.
• Focus on financial results for Client and own Company.
• Ensure focus on functional design solutions with respect to overall system functionality and operability, HSSE aspects and constructability & cost reduction.
• Ensure that milestone reviews are performed for critical milestones with focus on Execution, Key Deliverables and Management Key Deliverables.
• Implement corrective actions as necessary and agreed.

Skills and Levels Description:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Norwegian relevant legislation and standards.
• Good communication skills written/spoken in both Norwegian and English.
• Leader skills and experience.
• Customer mindset and broad experience within project leadership.
• Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude.
• A commercial mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to see solutions together with meeting customer expectations and requirements.
• The competency to be accurate, flexible and organized.
