We are looking for a People Operations Consultant to join our Visma Group-wide services team in Oslo, where you will play a key role in supporting our organisation in the people area and within operational excellence.

Group-wide services consist of approximately 700 employees and 130 leaders in different locations across Europe and LatAm. We are engaged (yes, we have solid data to back this up), diverse, international, and a bit complex! This means you'll engage with various parts of our organisation and collaborate with stakeholders throughout Visma.

What will you do as a People Operations Consultant?

You will be key in developing great leaders and supporting big or small tasks to ensure our people processes run smoothly. In combination, you will contribute to operational excellence and support Group management.

People Operations:

Your main responsibility will be working with people deliveries and further strengthening our best practices and processes in close collaboration with the People Manager and local HR, through:

• Recruitment: Assist in crafting job advertisements, coordinating interviews, managing job postings, and providing feedback on personality assessments.
• Onboarding/Offboarding: Ensure seamless onboarding experiences for new hires and support smooth offboarding processes in collaboration with local HR. Develop toolkits and analyze exit data to enhance employee transitions.
• Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the annual salary processes. Utilize tools to gather and analyze salary benchmarks and provide support to leaders throughout the process.
• General people support:
• Ad-hoc support to assist the People Manager
• Administrate internal communication platforms
• Provide first-line support for leaders in people tools

Operational Excellence:

From time to time we need extra hands for Group management.

• Group management support: Support the group management team with ad-hoc tasks and projects based on demand.
• Data quality & compliance: Ensure we have up-to-date metrics about our organisation and people area while ensuring we are compliant and have excellent data quality.

Who are we looking for?

We believe you are at the beginning of your career within HR and probably have some experience with people administration. To succeed we think you can tick these boxes as well:

• Eager to grow within the people operations field
• Have strong Norwegian & English communication skills
• Ability to simplify complex topics and data into clear and actionable insights
• You enjoy working with data and systems, demonstrating a solid numerical understanding
• You are service-oriented with a can-do attitude
