We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. Through our portfolio of projects, we are mitigating the environmental cost of industrial activity for a cleaner, more sustainable future. Aker Carbon Capture is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.

What will you be doing?
- Perform 3D design of Carbon Capture plants, within the following areas
- Piping and Layout (P&L)
- Structural
- Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) - Prepare and check technical drawings, e.g. Piping ISOs, Equipment and Structural GAs, Plot plans
- Create MTOs for procurement
- Coordinate with engineers and suppliers to find practical and cost-efficient design solutions
- Be overall responsible for the quality of the 3D model in Aveva E3D
- Read and understand PIDs
Your qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum 5 years total experience, preferably from onshore industrial projects
- Proficiency in Aveva E3D modelling tool is required
- Good multidisciplinary understanding with strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-contained and motivated, with a passion for environmental projects
- Self-motivated and with good cooperation skills within the company as well as with eternal parties
- Flexible regarding work tasks and possible practical fieldwork, as required
- Fluent in written and spoken English
