NOV is one of the world's largest supplier of products and solutions to the oil and gas industry. MDTotco is a business group within the Energy Products & Services segment, and with our Downhole Broadband Solutions and Real-Time Services offering we are focusing on drilling automation & optimization by use of downhole data.

Due to increasing interest in our products and services we want to strengthen our sales team to deliver on the growth and demand for more intelligent, smarter and more cost-efficient solutions to our customers. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the team lead for identifying, supporting and implementing our Downhole Broadband Services product line sales strategy within the designated area to achieve all revenue and market share growth goals and objective.
  • Build and grow market share and product penetration within the region, track progress monthly
  • Maintain key decision maker relationships with key customers at all levels, identifying customer needs while determining and/or providing commercial solutions that generate revenue
  • Work closely with operations in support of existing and new business opportunities, ensure all sales and operation collaboration, communication and support remain strong and aligns with operational needs
  • Stay abreast of market conditions while identifying market challenges and direction
  • Work closely with customers, PLM’s, sales team and regional operations to support critical information needed to help with the development of product value definition for the region
  • Support strategic marketing with technical insight and product application offering to meet existing and future needs, including representation of NOV MDT Downhole Broadband Service offerings through industry councils, committees, organizations such as SPE and IADC and client presentations
  • Build intercompany synergy to leverage bundle opportunities
  • Work within NOV systems to ensure quality and safe delivery of products and services

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Understanding of drilling mechanics and hydraulics with a vision for digital drilling transformation
  • BSc – engineering degree related to Oil & Gas industry (petroleum, drilling, geology, etc.) or proven track record in similar position
  • MS Office / Computer literacy
  • Imbued with a strong sense of customer focus
  • Able to deliver complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Independent, flexible worker
