The TeamThe Group Accounting team consists of 4 highly skilled and dedicated professionals. The position will be in our office in central Oslo.As our Group Accounting team continues to expand, driven by an ambitious growth plan to develop best practice accounting, we are looking to enhance the finance function with a business-savvy individual who possesses best-in-class reporting & accounting skills to take on the responsibility as a Group Financial Accountant.

You will play a pivotal role in our team by:

  • Bookkeeping from A-Z for companies that are part of the Heimstaden Group portfolio
  • Responsible for anuual reporting
  • Responsible for own portfolio
  • Responsible for ensuring all month-end, quarter-end and year-end reconciliations are made in a timely manner, with high quality.
  • Carry out accounting assessments and accruals.
  • Understand and monitor the internal VAT grouping, cash flows, inter-company charges and cash upstreaming between our companies. Preparation and responsibility for all tax declarations, returns and reconciliation.
  • Preparation of annual accounts
  • Processing invoices and arrange payments.
  • Maintain requirements specification and routine descriptions related to your position.
  • Cooperate with auditors to ensure good quality of underlying documents is compiled and presented.
  • Super user on group accounting and invoice processing software
  • Participate in roll-out and improvement of group accounting software

To be an ideal fit for our team, you possess:

  • A higher economic education at master's degree level in economics, accounting or similar.
  • Good understanding of numbers and accounting.
  • Experience from working with the majority or all processes within accounting, reporting, tax and corporate compliance requirements
  • Good IT skills (notably excel) and interest in ERP systems
  • Experience with D365, Semine, Maestro is an advantage
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
