Manager Accounts Payable

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Manager for the Accounts Payable (AP) Department at the KONGSBERG Finance Service Centre (FSC). We are looking for a dedicated Manager to continue developing our team for the future needs of our global organization, which is currently present in 34 countries. In addition to Kongsberg Maritime, the FSC also provides services to other areas within KONGSBERG.

In this role you will contribute to develop the department by incorporating new digital tools, harmonizing global processes, but most importantly ensure the team is in on the journey towards the future ambitions. Our FSCs are currently located in Norway, Poland and Singapore, with the main office in Kongsberg, Norway.

The ideal candidate should be a team player with highly developed interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration and cohesion within the team and across various stakeholders.

Key accountabilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day deliveries ensuring high customer satisfaction
• Ensuring all deliveries are in compliance with laws and regulations as well as internal principles and procedures
• Maintain, develop, and automate financial processes
• Inspire, lead and develop employees, both professionally and as a team

Qualifications and experience

• Higher education within finance or accounting
• Good knowledge of accounting rules and regulations
• Relevant manager experience within accounting or auditing is preferred
• A strong interest for IT and new or improved tools and processes
• Strong communication skills, spoken and written in Norwegian and English
  
  

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
